JCWI is an independent national charity. Our aim is to promote justice, fairness and the elimination of discrimination in immigration, nationality, asylum law and policy. We represent the legal rights of migrants and refugees and campaign for their human, economic and civil rights. In 2017 we celebrated our 50th year at the forefront of this field.
We are currently recruiting a legal assistant/receptionist to assist our fantastic legal team and our senior management by providing full-time front-of-house support and day-to-day operations support. The post-holder will often be the first point of contact for all telephone, email or in-person inquiries, so the ideal candidate should have excellent organisational skills, communication skills and be able to sensitively respond to inquiries from vulnerable individuals.
Whether you are a recent graduate with a passion for rights and equality or a seasoned administrator with experience in a small but busy organisation, this post offers the chance to work closely with an dynamic team of passionate, highly skilled lawyers and campaigners at the forefront of the movement for fairness and equality in the UK's immigration system.
